  • Beautiful sunrise -- my favorite time of day! Praise God for his lovingkindness!

  • Thank you for your comment and yes - time has brought lots of healing.  That and the fact that we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a precious miracle in two weeks!  God has been good!

  • ~ this is the verse God gave me a few weeks ago when I was going through a particular struggle. I love that it says "cause me to HEAR Thy lovingkindness..." I often think of SEEING His lovingkindness.. but HEARING it? Reminded me that He speaks to us of His love as well~ I liked that mental picture... sitting and listening to His love! :)

thanks for sharing.. it blessed me to read this morning. such a gorgeous gorgeous shot too!!

    happy saturday. <3

  • Mmmm, same here! "HEAR" His lovingkindness? I have heard it but didn't think of it like I should have! And your beautiful picture...I thought it was a sunset! I'm SO NOT a morning person, so I assume these kinds of pictures are all sunsets. Bad me!  Love, GAil

  • Beautiful! (The photo and scripture both. )

  • @call_me_zee - Oh my - what a wonderful praise to read......I don't know you but I hope you will leave me know when your little Gift arrives! I rejoice with you and thank you for allowing me to hear how God has blessed you!

  • @Hutch5 - This verse is so precious to me. I often start my prayer time in the morning - praying back this verse to Him - picturing Him leading me as my hand holds onto His. I did have a happy Saturday :) Thanks, Amber

  • @Richgem - You gave me a chuckle, Gail....thinking of you missing all these lovely sunrises!!  :) )  But I love this verse...as I mentioned to Hutch 5....it is a verse of promise to me as I start each new day - picturing my hand in His - guiding my day. Blessings on your Lord's Day! ~Cordy

  • just catching up from being away on vacation (and apparently before that, too!) happy belated birthday and anniversary. i see we share the 10th to celebrate our day of birth!

  • @jennikim - That is SO special to me to hear that!! Happy Birthday to you also!! Now you saw my age - may I ask you, yours? I know you're a happy young Mother - I've enjoyed reading about your eagerness for this precious little one to join your family!

  • @threejoys -

Ha, ha- most certainly! I am proud to say I am 27 (although I had to really think about that this year since my age doesn't seem to come up very often in conversation.) Sometimes it is hard to believe how quickly the past 5 years have gone by, but I feel so blessed with what God has done in my life in the past 5 years (since graduating, getting married, having kids, etc.) My husband's birthday is the 2nd, so we enjoy celebrating our special days together- though he turned 28 this year.

I think it's time to make myself get off the computer and get ready for bed. I've been organizing photos from our trip to FL, so I haven't wanted to put the laptop down. It will be time to get up and ready for church before I know it- and the kids will make sure and let me know! Sweet dreams!

  • Beautiful and majestic! God's glory displayed in the heavens!  Thanks for sharing!

  • What a powerful, beautiful verse to go with such a powerful, beautiful photograph!  What is the scripture reference for this verse?  I'm eager to look it up so I can pray it each morning as well!

  • @setapart1979 - I love this verse, Amber, for starting my day. I sometimes picture placing my hand in His right hand; trusting Him to guide my day. I think in the past I gave this verse to you for encouragement for your day....Psa. 63:8 "My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me." When I put these two verses together I find myself very encouraged. You know me well enough by now that there are times I need to go back and cling tighter to His right hand....to rest in His all-knowing presence....sometimes several times throughout the day.

I usually memorize from the NIV but for some reason, this time, the King James ministered to me. My Bible has the KJV and the NIV side by side and I enjoy seeing which one is more impacting to me as I read. I would encourage you to check it in the NIV to see if that version speaks to you.  The verse you asked about is Psalm 143:8.  I find great comfort and blessing in praying His Word back to Him. Trust your day is going well; I continue to pray for relief from that colitis and protection for your precious Gift. ~Blessings
