Here in PA. we are experiencing beautiful Autumn days and with it breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! You all know pictures don't do justice to what your eye and heart captures as you stand in awe of what you are seeing! (I do want to mention this sunrise is especially for dear xanga friend richgem as she is not a morning person!
)
I worship before You, dear Father, as the all-wise Creator, the One who made heaven and earth and all that is in them, and saw that it was very good!
"Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth."

This is so beautiful! Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers. They are talking snow in the mts that we have to cross over on sunday. It is just one of those cold spells that is passing by. It will be nice again all next week.

@SHARONS_PLACE - Sharon, did our Father keep the snow away or take you safely through it? It's 8:30 pm here in PA. and I thought of you again - hoping you are soon arriving at the home that is your answer to prayer!! ~Blessings

I've never heard of that book by Joni but I'm going to see if I can find it. Thanks for recommending it!
this is the day which the Lord has made
You so right! We are twin sisters and best friends! I haven't been on Xanga for a very long time, as you probably noticed, but I did take a look through your site and find that we have kindred spirits in family life and with the love of our Creator. Blessingins in your life journey. Thanks for stopping by to get acquainted.
Thanks for stopping by my site and introducing yourself. Yes, I am a sister to Coleen. And I enjoyed browsing your site too. Sisters are a lot of fun, and I see you enjoy yours and your family too. And yes, it is refreshing to see modestly dressed people that are serving the Lord.

Thanx for commenting! I had to reply on this sunrise post-when i seen the pic i hadn't noticed the date but immediently i said to myself this had to be an October PA sunrise!!! October was FULL of truly amazing sunrises!! My husband works in New Jersey quite a bit so morning after morning on his 2 hour drive to Jersey he would worship God as he seen these sunrises. One morning after a particular amazing sunrise he told me of how he was thinking that all those clouds made these sunrises what they were-a clear morning bestows a nice sunrise but these October morning boasted of many clouds- almost instantly God shared with him of how the "clouds" in our lives can be like these beautiful sunrises if we allow God to shape and soften us thro the cloudy times of life. To sum it up we totally LOVED those sunrises and they felt like a touch from Jesus in those tough mornings!
I live about 10 min from Shady-we pr'y don't live to far apart. Lots of questions i would love to ask u but if we never meet this side of Heaven we'll get to chat up there!! God bless your life and those u love!

@imablestmomy - Your analogy, Lena, of the sunrises and God shaping our lives is beautiful! May the Lord bless your mother heart as you continue to heal from this sorrow. I could hardly believe my eyes when I read where you live. I was with my precious daughter today - celebrating her 38th birthday, early, as Dec. 5th. is her birth date. Since her husband has off work on Saturday, the 5th, they will celebrate her birthday then. We started with breakfast and then went in the direction we really enjoy but don't get to too often....Kings on Newport Rd., Flower and Basket Warehouse, we stopped at a paper supply place close to Yoders.....beautiful dinner napkins and then Shady Maple grocery store!!!! To think I wasn't far from where you live! I live about 50 minutes from there....in Manheim. We have three children....daugther, son, and Christy Joy in Heaven! Do your children talk much about their little brother going to Heaven? Our children were older and I had shared more with them because of that. There sorrow was also deep and that made it harder for me as I carried a hurt for them. My dear husband would pray at night (we have our prayer time together then) and use her name in prayer, thanking the Lord that Christy Joy is with Him. That was so healing to me to hear her name. Yes, it brought tears sometimes but it was still healing. I would love to give you a hug and tell you, "I understand." ~Blessings, Cordy
