I pondered my last two entries.....

"Preparing my heart to say goodbye for a year;" and my "January 17th" entry.

I thought of Jeff and Kris saying goodbye until  -  Heaven!

Oh Heavenly Father, in their quiet times how I pray they will hear You whisper

    "Peace, my child."

This is what the two following pictures SHOULD look like!

We hike in the Fall with Glenn and Rachel - Frank and Lois. We could not find a weekend to fit everyone's schedule so we had our fellowship here in January - without the hike. (I knew that sometimes we can have a balmy afternoon in January....maybe we can hike!! Not this time - we had light snow.)

The gift of friendship is one I treasure deeply. Dear Lois has been dealing with Bells Palsy since August 24th.   If you have any experience in this that would be helpful, you can find Lois at http://www.xanga.com/reedseven

Nevin had a hard time getting Rachel's picture with her eyes open!!  We'll have to try this next time, Rachel!!

  • Fellowship with friends is the best - whether hiking or sitting.  I must show the grain bin to Cerwin.

  • Dear Cordelia, Thank you for your thoughts that you shared.  I love the idea you suggested and will start keeping an accounting.  It really is important to write down those sightings, especially right now where things seem such a struggle for me raising my young family.  I desperately need to lean on God right now, I feel so strongly this attack from Satan right now, destroying my peace with raising my children, I feel like I am sinking into a black hole and don't know how to stay afloat.  There are so many challenges to raising children and training them to obey and to follow guidelines....it is just hard...*smile*...I know that if I seek the Lord out he will be there and even when I am not looking, it is good to remember to reflect on teh day and see when He was helping me through this particular season of life.
