This is dear Kelly two weeks ago.

I am so grateful for your prayers!  At 3am this morning Tori's fever broke - praise the Lord!! It was 103 degrees Sunday evening when I talked to her; she was shivering as we talked. At that point she didn't know the chicken pox was on its way. From Sunday night until Thursday morning her temperature would fluctuate - hitting 103 occasionally.  Donna said Tori feels much better today even though the chicken pox is very uncomfortable.  The boys don't have fever but are feeling miserable.

Donna is busy with oatmeal baths daily for three children - yielding lots of laundry! She told the children at one point today, "I'm going outside for time-out!!"

Thanks, again, for helping to carry this concern!  I am so grateful for your friendship.

  • What a time she is having,I bet she needed a time out :) so Glade things are getting better ,Praise the Lord

  • I'm sure Donna did need a time out.  Reading your post brought back memories of what it was like to be a young mother with 4 children.  It is a lot of work and I know now why God gives us our children when we are young.  I don't have that much energy anymore!!!!!

  • Poor kids!  Glad that they're starting to feel better.  Still praying for Donna & the kids.

  • Boy they did have it bad. Still praying for them! Blessings!

  • Hi I'm Donna, the mommy that you all have been praying for and I say THANK YOU!! It feels good to be over the worst of it and I look forward to a more normal week. What is normal any ways? :)

  • By any chance were you at the Mt.Joy gift and thrift today??? I was with my daughter after cleaning at my mother in laws ,If it was not you then you have a twin !!

  • @homesteadingtess - Oh Teresa - I WAS!!!! Oh my - I wish so badly you would have said something to me! Where was I - which section of the store when you saw me? I am pulling all these cells to memory....trying to recall a Mother and daughter in the store!! I would love to meet you! Did I look sober??!! :)    When I am concentrating, I know I can look that way - and I don't like it!!!!  About once a month, I take a lady from church who is almost blind, to a reuseit shop. Next month we go to the one in New Holland and Ephrata. She just loves it and since she can't drive anymore she is ever so grateful! She uses a magnifying glass with a light to check color and price! Sometimes she needs to ask me about a size. A  little over a year ago I was searching my heart what I can do for her....and I clearly felt the Lord give me this idea. AND I did not care for reuseit shops. (That was for sure the Lord!!) I know that I know the Lord has blessed this decision as I thoroughly now enjoy them and have been blessed over and over again with items I've found! Please - next time - ask if I'm threejoys or Cordy!  :) )
